The Blue Train Park has been in operation for more than 55 years. The property is approx 3500m2, less than 50m from the Atlantic Ocean with a backdrop of Lionshead, Signal Hill and Table Mountian. Now an iconic feature to Cape Town’s beautiful seaside landscape, this park with its famous miniature blue train and 130m2 synthetic ice-rink captures the youthful fantasies of both young and old. The park boasts an array of fun interactive play structures aimed at kids between the ages of 1 – 12yrs of age and hosts numerous pre-booked private & school orientated parties or outings.
The Blue Train Park is home to the famous mini Blue Train, a 130m2 Synthetic Ice-Rink and a bunch of other wonderful outdoor play features positioned less than 50 metres from the Atlantic Ocean.
Park Activities: Take a journey on the Mini Blue Train through the rainbow tunnel, or "let it go" on the 130m2 Outdoor Synthetic Ice-Rink (the first in South Africa). You can then step into the park garden and try the 30m zip line(foofy-slide), dirt bike track, cement pushbike track, 2x 8m long slide, see-saws, Climbing Rock, two Jungle gyms, a Dreamweavers Obstacle course, basket ball net or astro turf soccer pitch!
