Family Friendly Attractions and Entertainment South Africa

What's on this school holiday in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban

Easter has arrived! Hooray! We simply love this time of year: the delicious array of chocolate and sweet treats, the uninterrupted family time and, of course, the ubiquitous (super fun) Easter Egg Hunt (yes, we get even more 'eggcited' than the kids!).

This time of year also brings with it an array of fun family activities to indulge in over the holiday in South Africa.

If you are spending time in Johannesburg or Pretoria, be sure to indulge in at least one of the 15 Things to do in Johannesburg this Easter and have a loud and excited family brunch, which becomes lunch, which becomes dinner, at one of the 53 Child-Friendly Restaurants in Johannesburg & Surrounds or at one of the Child-Friendly Restaurants in Pretoria. Another super-fun and budget-friendly activity is to have a braai or picnic at one of Gauteng's Favourite Picnic Spots.

Everybody in Cape Town can (and should!) explore as many of the 50+ Child-Friendly Restaurants in Cape Town, the Northern Suburbs and Cape Winelands 2018 as they can, or go have some good-old family fun and adventure at one of these awesome events: What's on this Easter Holiday in Cape Town. Do not forget to get your FREE copy of our #WithKids Magazine and entertainment guide for the Easter break - we have filled it with everything a parent might wish for: from recipes to activities and events and even coupons!

For those of you heading to the beautiful tropical Kwa-Zulu Natal coastline, find guaranteed family fun at these 15 Things to do in Durban this Easter!

For families spending time indoors, we also have a blog on free things to do with kids, at home.
