Avalanche - Kids Party Venue, Ski & Snowboarding - Design Quarter in Fourways

Enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding, Bumboarding and Tubing on our 65 meter ski slope at Avalanche play park in Fourways.  With years of experience under our belts, we will ensure that you and your guests have an amazing experience!

Kids Party Venue 

We offer children’s parties, teambuilding, corporate events and ski and snowboarding lessons, as well as kids activities in Fourways. Our ski slope has a drag lift right to the top - easy to use for fun-loving people of all ages. Whether it's a kids birthday party, company teambuilding or ski and snowboard lesson that you want, we have it all. Let us arrange your function for your birthday - cakes, balloons, party packs, whatever. We have a kids Jungle Gym/activity centre so the youngsters can use some of that pent-up energy.

Restaurant for delicious pizzas 

Our Restaurant serves snacks throughout the day and a la carte dishes in the evening. We serve the CHEAPEST Pizza's and cool drinks on the Square. Our fully licensed Bar is open for corporate functions and private parties. We even have cameras on the slope so that Dads can have a drink at the bar and watch their kids having fun. Should our platters not be to your choice – you are welcome to bring in your own eats. 

Expert ski instructors available 

Our expert ski instructors are available for ski and snowboard lessons by arrangement. We cater for any level of experience. For more advanced skiers we even have ski jumps. We have the only surface in the country that has been Olympic certified. Our ski and snowboarding instructors are certified annually and are able to assist with any level of experience.

Our parties are legendary with child minders to assist on and off the slope.

What you can expect from the party plans 

Two hours of access and fun on the slope. A bowl of delicious freshly popped popcorn. Six beautiful colourful balloons in balloon holders. Party packs for the children (inside is a packet of crisps, a juice, some sweets and a surprise toy). We even have kosher party packs available on request. We can organise a special theme for your party, with entertainers, birthday cakes and more – just contact us to discuss.

With the exception of pizza’s as our pizza oven makes the most delicious pizza’s around. We also don’t allow any beverages to be brought into our premises as we are fully stocked with all types of cold drinks and alcohol. Should you have a request for an unusual beverage – we are happy to source it for you. Parties are only allowed to be shared between two (2) party moms or two siblings. Should there be an additional birthday child, please discuss with us prior to the function. Any additional birthday children will result in additional charges being billed.

Rain or sun? Kids will still be entertained 

We are an all weather venue so whether the sun is shining or it’s raining, we are able to entertain your children. We have an exciting slope that can be used for bum boarding or ski and snowboarding. If the children are tired from the slope, they can make use of the indoor jungle gym.
