Wonderdal is a unique edutainment experience combining learning with play and magic with innovation to allow learners aged 5-13 to journey through the worlds of science, nature and life skills in the company of their Amuki companions. These five animated friends represent the five elements essential to life in Wonderdal – Sun, Earth, Sky, Water and Care – and are both the guardians and playmates for every young visitor to this enchanted space.
Wonderdal is divided into specific zones, each focused on specific areas of learning and modes of play. Nature is the focus in the immersive digital world of the Wonder Garden, while in the Tinker Workshop – where human ‘Wonder Pals’ are on hand to help and guide – children are introduced to simple scientific principles through engaging hands-on activities. Active kids will love clambering into the boughs of Kora, the Tree of Light, or burning off excess energy in the outdoor playground dubbed the ‘Wildlands’. For some down-time, the ‘living library’ of the Story Cave lets quieter adventurers listen to stories, read books, and reflect on what they’ve learned at Wonderdal.
The diversity of learning opportunities has also made Wonderdal a popular destination for both private parties and school excursions, accommodating up to 90 learners at a time. Taking education beyond the boundaries of the classroom, the varied zones and learning outcomes at Wonderdal have been specifically tailored to dovetail with the formal primary school curriculum. Wonderdal also offers dedicated classroom spaces and trained Wonder Pals to monitor activities and learners’ wellbeing.
Wonderdal is always access-controlled and supervised, allowing parents, and caregivers the opportunity to explore Hazendal estate with peace of mind while young visitors are enchanted by the wonderful world of Wonderdal. Wonderdal is also an ideal birthday party destination with various celebratory packages.
