Jolly Roger Pirate Ship & Kids Parties- Cape Town 

The Jolly Roger is the only authentic Pirate Ship in South Africa and sails daily from Quay 5 in the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. Built for any occasion we offer daily scheduled tours as well as the opportunity to hire the entire boat for your special event or kids birthday party. 

The Jolly Roger can take up to 75 passengers when sailing and 100 passengers while at the quayside. 

How long is the trip on the pirate ship?

The activity duration takes approximately 1 - 4 hours.  

What is the route on the pirate ship?

Destinations - Table Bay, Robben Island, Granger Bay, Clifton Beach & Camps Bay. Personalised routes available on request and Kiddies Parties.

Treat your child and his friends if you dare by hosting their next birthday party on board the fearsome Jolly Roger Pirate boat moored in the V & A Waterfront. We provide a number of packages that include a trip out to sea on an authentic pirate boat (weather dependent), lunch with a party box, décor and a treasure trove of activities to keep young and old entertained.

Parties are available Mondays to Sundays (excluding period 1 December to 15 January)

Times:

3 time slots to choose from 10h00 - 12h00, 12h30 - 14h30 & 15h00 - 17h00 (September to end April)
2 time slots to choose from 10h00 - 12h00 & 13h00 - 15h00 (May to end August)

2 hours in total
1-hour venue hire with entertainment whilst moored
1-hour boat cruise out at sea with general public

Minimum - 10 Kids per party

Maximum - 15 Kids per party

Mom & Dad of Birthday boy/girl is free
Parents accompanying the party will be charged a discounted rate of R100 per person.
