With its finger on the pulse of the wants and desires of the young and young at heart, GrandWest presents Fun Park, a fantasy playground for the holidays. GrandWest’s Sun Exhibits and Sun Park will be transformed from 16 December 2016 to 10 January 2017 to create space where young people can enjoy thrilling rides and activities.
There are over 12 activities and rides for children aged 18 months (accompanied by a parent) and older to try in Sun Exhibits. These include horse and aeroplane swings, an inflatable pop up park, a rocket parachute simulator, a bungee trampoline, lady bug rides, a toy ride, the rodeo bull, elephant rides, the space gyro and barrel swings. In the Sun Park, there are more than seven rides to enjoy. These include big swings, the spiral jet, the jumping star, the tornado, the kangaroo, the Ferris wheel and pedal go karts.
Fun Park is open from daily, excluding . Tickets cost R20 each and can be purchased at the ticket office inside Sun Exhibits. All rides require one ticket, with the exception of one ride which requires two tickets.
Children will be permitted to ride for free from 12h00 to 13h00 on Monday 19 December 2016 as part of the GrandWest’s birthday celebration.
There will also be a line up of fun filled activities daily in GrandWest’s Cape Village during December 2016 and January 2017. Activities are presented by adults in an enclosed area and many of them are free to enjoy.
The exciting schedule includes mind boggling magic shows, lip smacking cookie decorating, beading workshops, balloon twisting, face painting, puppet shows, art and craft workshops, stories, dress up booths and more. The action takes place from 12h00 to 16h00.
