Psychedelic Theatre se vuurwarm pret gaan gaste vermaak en verbyster

ʼn Nag van vlamme, vuur en natuur is die lig aan die einde van die jaartonnel wanneer die gewilde Psychedelic Theatre op Saterdag, 28 Desember 2019, by die Afrikaanse Taalmonument in die Paarl optree. Die grasieuse vuurdansers en hul verskeie vlammende voorwerpe sal die gehoor vir ʼn uur betower met asemrowende vuurtoertjies, musiek en choreografie. Dus kom geniet ʼn onmisbare somersaand met vriende, familie en pieknieks tydens die twaalfde ‘Dans van die Vlamme’-opvoering.

Lanél van der Kolff, aktrise en stigter van die Psychedelic Theatre, asook haar talentvolle mededansers sien immers daarna uit om inwoners, toeriste én vakansiegangers by die Taalmonument te verwelkom vir ʼn onvergeetlike vertoning aan wat jou verbeelding sal oortref. Die waaghalsige toertjies en storievertelling sal jou sensoriese stimuli verryk, want die visuele voorstelling wissel van fisieke teater tot interaktiewe vuurspel wat jou na ʼn ander vlak van teaterervaring sal meevoer. Die hekke open om 17:00 en die vertoning self begin om 20:00 sodra die son groet. Besoekers is welkom om hul eie drankies (geen glas) en piekniekmandjies saam te bring of een vooraf by die koffiewinkel (R300 vir twee persone of R400 met ’n mandjie ingesluit) op 021 863 2800 te bestel. Dit sal ook oop wees vir koffie en ligte verversings asook pizza. Geen rook en stoele word in die Tuinteater toegelaat nie. Onthou om ’n kombers of kussing en warm klere te bring. Besoekers word aangemoedig om die omgewing en monument te verken, en het ook toegang tot veilige parkering, buitelug-speletjies, kinderspeelparke asook ’n gedigte-uitstalling in die buitelug.

Kaartjies is vooraf te koop by Computicket en by die Taalmonument teen R100 vir volwassenes, R80 vir Suid-Afrikaanse studente/pensioenarisse en R50 vir kinders onder 13 jaar (gratis onder 3j). Op die dag self is kaartjies te koop teen R120 vir volwassenes, R100 vir Suid-Afrikaanse studente/pensioenarisse en R60 vir kinders onder 13 jaar (gratis onder 3j).

Flaming hot Psychedelic Theatre to entertain and amaze guests yet again

A night of flames, fire and nature is the light at the end-of-the-year tunnel when the popular Psychedelic Theatre performs at the Afrikaans Language Monument in Paarl on Saturday, 28 December 2019. The graceful fire dancers and their various burning objects will captivate the audience for an hour with breath-taking fire tricks, music and choreography. So, come and enjoy an unmissable summer's evening with friends, family and picnics during the twelfth 'Picnic on Fire' performance.

After all, Lanél van der Kolff, actress and founder of the Psychedelic Theatre, as well as her talented co-dancers look forward to welcoming residents, tourists and holidaymakers at the Taalmonument for an unforgettable performance that will surpass your imagination. The daring tricks and storytelling will enrich your sensory stimuli, as the visual representation ranges from physical theatre to interactive fire games, which will guide you to another level of theatrical experience. The gates open at 17:00 and the show itself starts at 20:00, as soon as the sun bids us farewell. Visitors are welcome to bring their own drinks (no glass) and picnic baskets or pre-order one at the coffee shop (R300 for two people or R400 with a basket) on 021 863 2800. It will also be open for coffee and light refreshments as well as pizza. No smoking and chairs are allowed in the Garden Theatre. Remember to bring a blanket or pillow and warm clothing. Visitors are encouraged to explore the area and monument, and also have access to secure parking, outdoor games, children's playgrounds as well as an outdoor poetry exhibition.

Tickets are available for pre-purchase at Computicket and at the Taalmonument at R100 for adults, R80 for South African students/pensioners and R50 for children under 13 (free under 3 years). On the day itself, tickets are on sale at R120 for adults, R100 for South African students/pensioners and R60 for children under 13 (free under 3 years).
