The Robertson Wine Valley

During 1983 the Robertson Wine Valley Association was founded. This was to help develop the wine industry in the area. The idea was also to promote tourism in the Robertson area and to ultimately uplift the entire community.

The Wine Valley consists of over 50 wineries and tourist companies that are located in a number of towns including:

• Ashton
• Bonnievale
• Robertson
• McGregor

The Fantastic Robertson Wine Valley can be found only 2 hours from the beautiful city of Cape Town. The picturesque and famous Route 62 is a travel experience not to be missed. The valley is also situated between the splendid Riviersonderend and Langeberg Mountain ranges. The Breede River winds its way through the beautiful Valley.

You will experience the most unforgettable and extraordinary wine and food along with other exciting activities. The Robertson Wine Valley welcomes you to enjoy their authentic country-charm hospitality.

Restaurants and Deli's

All visitors have a selection of five-star Restaurants and Delis. On offer is a variety of food choices from Traditional South African fare to Fine Dining French Cuisine, there is something for everybody. Enjoy Breakfast, Lunches, and dinners at the various Restaurants available in the Valley. The option to create your own picnic basket is also available and course all meals can be enjoyed with award-winning wines.

You must stay in one of the fabulous accommodation options available in the Robertson Wine Valley. You can choose from Grand Manor Houses to peaceful Guest Farms and houses.
