Willy Wonka's grand appearance at GrandWest
GrandWest and the delightful Candylicious teamed up to bring the wackiest Candy maker , Willy Wonka to town. As I am sure most know that Willy Wonka is the very fun and colourful character from Roald Dahl’s incredibly famous novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
We had the pleasure of meeting Willy Wonka during the December 2015 holiday season at the Cape Village in GrandWest. There was absolutely no cost to join in the fun.
After Mr Wonka’s grand entrance and a few photo ops we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Nando’s. After lunch we headed over to the Candylicious store to do some exploring. This wonderful store offers an awesome range of clothing, merchandise, novelties, sweets, soft drinks and lots more from many well known international brands. We received a delicious hamper filled with Wonka treats.
Other activities sure to keep the kids entertained at the event include magic shows, arts and crafts, a range of exciting workshops, face – painting and even Christmas cookie decorating!
