What moms want for mother's day

We asked moms around South Africa what they wanted for Mother’s day 2016, and this is what we found!

So, let’s not beat around the bush- if your kids are under 12, chances are this responsibility becomes the husbands’.  Hubbies – help is here!

2% of moms wanted to go on a special date with Daddy and romanticize a little while 7% wanted to be showered with gifts. 7% Thought a day at the spa would be a great idea and 2% wanted breakfast in bed (oops- if this was your idea of spoiling your kid's mom, perhaps you need to add a little to this idea).  12% Wanted to be exempted from chores (SweepSouth can help with a cleaning voucher), 12% just wanted to feel loved. Another 12% of mothers in our survey wanted to be with their moms – I know, it’s a mom thing. Having children sometimes just makes you appreciate your mother more.

The winner, however, was “family time together” and the runner-up, a mere 2% behind the winner, was the need to sleep in, unbothered and uninterrupted for as long as possible.

So Dads, making use of these ideas from the mothers’ pens- why not choose three options and really spoil your child’s mother this weekend?  Think..."let her sleep in...shower in peace... and organize dinner for her family and yours at a family-friendly restaurant!”
