Carmen Bakker, the owner of Kidspartyvenues, grew up in Johannesburg. Most of her career was spent in marketing, sales and IT divisions. She became a WFH/SAH mom after having two children. Kidspartyvenues came about after searching the world wide web of information two years in a row in search of finding a suitable party venue for children. Over the course of a further year and loads of research later, the website materialised.
