Hello! I am Karin van Wijk, mother of a beautiful boy and girl. Our family loves being outside, and what better place to be living out our passion for nature than the Winelands. On weekends we enjoy visiting wine farms and child-friendly places where my husband and I can have a glass of wine and the children can play. I am a Business owner and Industrial Psychologist at Unframed, a consulting organisation that develops businesses and their people. As a family we try to limit screen time which means we have a lot of time for reading, playing and traveling. Important values: Family: We live for our family and friends. Most of our family is in different provinces and when they do visit us, we love to take them to all our favourite places. Business: My husband and I are both business owners which results in busy weeks. Therefore, on weekends we relax and spend as much time with kids as possible. Social impact: I am involved in several community upliftment projects and organisations where I serve as chairperson, assist with funding and strategic direction.
