The Voortrekker Monument and Nature Reserve is more than just a heritage conservation site.

This attraction offers the public the opportunity to learn more about the Afrikaner’s remarkable story of faith, heroism, perseverance, and a vision of the future to be where they are today.

The Voortrekker Monument’s impressive reception, festival and conference facilities meet the needs of every individual, couple or larger group.

They currently have 11 beautiful facilities ideal for hosting weddings, functions, birthdays and other special events, seminars, conferences, workshops, and large outdoor gatherings.

Operating hours are Monday – Sunday: 8:00 – 17:30

During Pledge Week, the Monument closes daily at 22:00.
