Platform to promote pure-bred rabbits
The Cape Rabbit club promotes the breeding of pure-bred rabbits. According to Simone van Zyl, the club is open to all interest groups, commercial farmers, breeders, fanciers and pet owners.
“Last year’s show exceeded all our expectations, with 142 rabbits entered,” Van Zyl says. “The Rabbit Hub at Agri-Expo Livestock creates an ideal platform to educate the public on the proper care and handling of rabbits, and to assist young as well as commercial breeders.
