GrandWest hosts South Africa’s biggest gaming and technology exhibition
Tens of thousands of gaming and technology enthusiasts are expected to descend on GrandWest’s Sun Exhibits for rAge 2016, South Africa’s biggest annual video gaming, computer, technology and “geek culture” exhibition. The popular exhibition takes place over three days from 18 to 20 March 2016.
Fans will be able to buy new games and consoles, chat with local comic book artists and take selfies with their favourite cosplayers. The show offers a glimpse into the future and provides a platform to touch and feel, try and experiment new technologies and games.
rAge 2016 will again feature the exciting and sleep depriving three day NAG LAN. This is a wired melting pot of adrenalin filled gaming in the form of a 52 hour BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer/Console) LAN, where gamers all hook up to one network for 52 hours of pure gaming.
“rAge is widely known as the go to expo for gaming and technology enthusiasts to see and explore the latest goodies and gadgets. NAG LAN promises to be one of the highlights of the show as gamers unite for hours of exhilarating, collaborative gaming,” says Elouise Matthys, PR and Promotions Manager at GrandWest.
Visitors can opt to purchase a weekend pass for R250 or a day pass ticket for R100. Children under six can attend free of charge, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Access to NAG LAN costs R550 per person for the three days and includes entry to the rAge exhibition. Tickets are available at Computicket as well as at the event. Doors open from 10h00 to 19h00 daily.
Win 1 of 3 one-day family tickets to rAge. App users can DOUBLE their chances by entering via the app also.
