The Paarl Harvest Celebration (previously known as the Ommiberg Festival) on 2 March is the ideal event to entice family and friends to head out to the beautiful Boland, and enjoy an entertainment filled line-up while savouring delicious food and wine.
Boland Cellar is once again partnering with other wine producers in the region to make the annual harvest celebration a memorable affair, treating visitors to a family-fun day with activities to suit every individual’s preferences.
Guests can look forward to starting the harvest season in the Cape Winelands to the sounds of Newton and Co. and Andriëtte Moolman; while enjoying young wine tastings and refreshing wine slushies. Kids can enjoy the supervised play area while parents and other wine lovers browse the day’s wine specials at the tasting room. Food trucks boasting the latest food trends and delicious eats are on standby to satisfy both peckish and more substantial appetites.
Tickets are available at the entrance on the day from 10h00 at R60 per person and includes a wine glass and wine tasting. No alcohol for sale to children under 18.
