FREE Entry to the Cape Town Science Centre
The Cape Town Science Centre (CTSC) in Observatory is inviting the young and old to visit the centre free of charge on Sunday 29 July, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August in celebration of National Science Week (NSW) 2018. Explore the wonders of science through interactive exhibits, science shows, coding, planetarium shows, hands-on workshops, science & maths games, demos and more! Please note that bookings for workshops can be made upon arrival at the information desk. Workshop participants will be accommodated on a first-come-first served basis. Space is limited. An opportunity like this only comes around once a year, so gather up family and friends and join in the nationwide celebration of science. The Cape Town Science Centre is situated at 370B Main Road, Observatory and will be open from 10:00 – 16:00 on Sunday, 29 July and Sunday, 5 August and from 9:00 – 16:00 on Saturday, 4 August 2018. National Science Week is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, implemented by the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement, a Business unit of the National Research Foundation.
