After a hugely successful launch of the Meerendal Farmers Market, we are all looking forward to the next on-trend, lifestyle market happening at Meerendal Wine Estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley on  Saturday 22 September 2018. Housed in an aluminium-frame, super-cosy, all-weather Marquee this is the perfect way to spend a relaxing day with family and friends.

28 October 2018: Meerendal Market Celebrating Sauvignon Blanc with live music provided by a local artist.
3 November 2108: Windhoek Oktoberfest family Day with music provided by the original Munich Band, The Kirchdorfer as well as the Schuhplattler folk dancers.
24th November 2018: Meerendal Farmers Market family Day with live music provided by a local artist.

Die Broers, a well-known and well-loved local band will be entertaining the crowds at this Meerendal Farmers market in Durbanville this weekend. This music group trio made up of the Snyman brother Christo, Cobus and Stephan and formed in 2006. Die Broers had a big hit with "Huistoe" in 2008 for which they won "Best Song of the Year" in the Tempo Awards given annually by Huisgenoot popular Afrikaans magazine in South Africa. Their live DVD Broers Tussen die was nominated for the category "Best DVD of the Year".

Bar Facilities for Parents at Meerendal Farmer's Market

We have bar facilities available serving a selection of craft beers, Meerendal Wines as well as a wide choice of non-alcoholic and soft drinks. The bar will be serving from 10h00am.    

Outdoor kids play area  

Kids will be able to enjoy a wide variety of fun-filled activities catering for all ages. Physical jumping and climbing options will be on offer as well as face-painting, arts and crafts. Parents can relax in full eye-view of their kids in a shaded area with close proximity to the music.
