Hex Valley Night Challenge is a night trail run in one of the most beautiful valleys in the country.
With the peaks of the highest mountain in the Boland as the backdrop, we’ll be taking the runners through beautiful vineyards, along farm dams and through natural Karoo fynbos. The runners will navigate their own way through the moonlight and test their skills against elements and friends.
You can choose between 2 races:
The Challenge
1½ hour (10-16km) night run for the adventure seeker 2-4 persons per team With at least 16 waypoints to reach R250/team for early bird online entry (R300/team for a race day entry) Goodie bags for the first 170 pre-entries – Start time: 19h15 – 20h45 Compulsory Gear: Headlamp with charged batteries, whistle (1 per team), warm top, cell phone.
The Run
Come and GLOW on a full moon fun run 1 hour (4km) night fun event for the youngsters and the whole family 2-4 persons per team With at least 10 waypoints to reach R150/team for early bird online entry (R200/team for a race day entry) Two GLOW sticks for each runner – Start time: 19h30 – 20h30 Compulsory Gear: Headlamp with charged batteries, whistle (1 per team), warm top, cell phone (1 per team). Prize giving will be at 21h00.
