DSK Family Bazaar Dine

For one day a year, the Deutsche Internationale Schule Kapstadt (German International School Cape Town) transforms into a hub of authentic German food, beer and culture.

This family-friendly annual gathering takes place this year on Saturday, 3 November 2018.

Absorb the delights of German tradition with plenty of Weissbier and Bratwurst, amid the hive of exciting and entertaining activities and live music.

This fundraiser is so much more than just a food and beer market; it places a special emphasis on children – it is the Deutsche Internationale Schule Kapstadt after all. You can be certain that there will be plenty to do, prizes to be won, food to eat and fun to be had by your little ones.

There will also be a flea market, a bookstore and a traditional German Christmas market, selling perfect gifts and delightful treats. That means you’ll be able to shop for trinkets like you’re actually in Bavaria. Tuck into the traditional fare at one of the many food stalls. Think juicy Bratwurst, salty Kasseler, crispy Schweinshaxen and tangy Sauerkraut. Vegans, vegetarians and banters haven’t been forgotten; there will be plenty of food stalls on the day that accommodate those with specific dietary requirements.

Once the sun goes down, the DSK Bazaar becomes more lively; it’ll feel like you’re in a bustling Biergarten in Munich. There will be plenty of SAB beer for all those enjoying the festivities. Grab yourself something köstlich from the Bavarian Tent, sit down at a table with friends and enjoy the atmosphere of this German fest.
