Summer holidays in the Mother City are approaching, and the kids of Zip Zap Circus are ready to entertain the whole family!
Local legends, Zip Zap Circus, are bringing back their circus extravaganza, VOOMA! to get our feet-stomping and hearts-racing this festive season. Aerialists will fly and acrobats will flip across the stage of the Zip Zap Dome at 18h00 daily from 7 to 17 December 2023.

Earlier this year students of Zip Zap’s Dare2Dream and Zappers programmes, which run completely free of charge, brought the first edition of VOOMA! to Cape Town audiences and here was the response:

Now these fearless performers return with new acts, more energy and spirit-lifting choreography. If you’ve never visited this hallmark of Cape Town entertainment, this is not the sawdust and lion-tamers you might be picturing. For 31-years, founders Brent van Rensburg and Laurence Estève, have been bridging gaps of inequality and creating safe places for young people to build trust, dream big and learn skills for life through circus arts like juggling, trapeze, acrobatics and clowning.
The latest version of VOOMA! promises all-new dance acts to get young and old boogying as well as jaw-dropping group acrobatic routines and aerial acts.

VOOMA! will take centre stage at the Zip Zap Dome, in the Artscape Founders Garden - entrance through at 10 Jan Smuts St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town. Showtimes are at 18h00 daily from the 7th to the 17th of December 2023. Doors open 45 minutes before each performance. Stadium raked seating is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking allowed in the Founders’ Garden next to the Dome.
