With a 24 strong cast of lively young performers, ranging in ages from 8 - 20 years old. The Drama Lab will present this award winning musical, by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. This heart-warming celebration of being different, is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit, unique charm and memorable music. This rewrite of the beloved story, The Ugly Duckling, tells the story of an odd-looking duck called Ugly and his moving journey towards acceptance, in his family and in his own heart. The costumes and sets are upcycled, recycled and renovated from thrift stores, welfare shops and recycled junk yards.
