Hi-Tec Garden Route Walking Festival
Hi-Tec Garden Route Walking Festival is SA’s first and only walking dedicated festival. The largest festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
Over 4 days the festival hosts over 52 different walks between Mossed Bay and Nature’s Valley. Over 50% of the walks are FREE to attend.
Professional guided walks help many start-up guides develop their guiding business. Over 10 different nature charities benefit from the festival through funds raised.
The walks on offer cater to everyone, from easy beach walks to extreme climbs up the highest mountains in the region.
Beach Clean-Up walks take place in Mossel Bay, Knysna and Nature’s Valley.
2019 sees the launch of a Tree Planting Walk to help with reforestation.
There is even 'The Gruffalo Walk' - based on the famous children’s book character.
