SABC Hosts Career Expo at Capegate Shopping Centre

A free SABC High School Career Expo takes place in centre on 13 and 14 September from 09h00 – 17h00.
The expo is designed to provide primary and high school students with guidance for choosing a high school and selecting their school subjects and aims to assist high school students with tertiary education advice.
High school students will be able to meet with representatives from a wide range of universities, Technikons, colleges and other tertiary institutions.

Expo attendees and their parents can learn about:
- Public and private high schools and their special programs, extracurricular activities as well as their relevant admissions criteria.
- Better understanding the expectations and roles of their potential professions from field specialists.
- How to secure student loan and even bursaries.
- How to manage finances when living away from home.
- Various type of tertiary institutions and their admission criteria.
- Tertiary institutions accommodation and transport.

The Expo aims to equip students with valuable knowledge in order for them to make educated decisions regarding their future through discussions and presentations.
