2018 Winter school holiday activities
Winter holidays are here and we have some fantastic news for you. You know those outings you always wanted to go on but taking the kids with made it just out of reach- well winter school holidays is the best time to follow through with “Kids go free” specials. In the complimentary winter edition of our family travel and entertainment magazine, we have a wide variety of free and inexpensive things to do with the kids this school holiday. If your child did not get one at school, don't despair - you can still view it online or request a delivery at home for next term at +-R50 (all four editions). Just contact us! Free for kids:
1. Table Mountain Aerial Cableway
Table Mountain Aerial Cableway offers two kids a free ride with every adult return ticket purchased. When you are at the top they can get a free map and explore Table Mountain and FREE Cableway Character tattoo/sticker from the Ticket Office. FREE sweet treats can further be collected from the Shop at the Top and Table Mountain Cafe.

2. Cape Point Kids Ride the Funicular & Eat for FREE! *
As Alexa said in her 48 Hours in Cape Town with kids blog: “Although one could spend days in the awe-inspiring Cape Point Nature Reserve and World Heritage Site, we were pressed for time and therefore decided to take a quick ride up to the viewing point with the Flying Dutchman Funicular. The trip along the 585m track to the lighthouse takes about 3 minutes.”
This 2018 winter and early spring two kids ride free when an adult return ticket is bought, and 1 child eats free with every sit-down adult main meal at their restaurant. Please confirm their terms and conditions when you book regarding the children's ages.

3. Scootours Table Mountain, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch:
Scootours offers fantastic outdoor tours, offering you the opportunity to see Cape Town on an eco-friendly scooter. This winter you can ask about their kids special when you make a booking. Kids aged 4 to 9 can Scootour for free this winter when accompanied by an adult paying driver. This means you save R 290 per child. This outing also makes for the perfect “Dadventure”. 4. City Sightseeing Kids Special
